"Wise Woman Magic" fine art print.
A while ago I drew a potion bottle for Inktober. It has a skull at the bottom and the substance creates love-heart bubbles. It’s a nod to the common trope in magic-themed films when the characters uses love potion and thought it might solve their desire for someone. They all end up in a bad place. It’s also a perfect allusion for real life romance situations. About not being true to yourself in order to be loved by someone you’re crazy for that you’d change yourself to fit into their world. Trust that one of you will end up in a bad place.
As i drew this woman, I realised she is a wise woman. She is curing people who are madly in love with a false idea of romance. She is carefully dissolving the love bubbles. Dissolving, not bursting because the heart is a tender thing.
