It is often the case that we are surrounded by beautiful things; children laughing, the sun shining bright, friends making jokes, etc. However, when our inner turmoil takes over, we find ourselves unable to relate to what is happening around us. It is an isolated feeling, the feeling that I wanted to convey through "Underneath the Poppy Field".
